Pitches, blurbs, and synopses (oh my!)
This trio is often the bane of an author’s existence. But they don’t have to be. They’re a necessary evil if you’re querying or publishing, but that doesn’t mean you have to go into battle alone.

Timeline
Pitches, blurbs, and your synopsis can be done at any point in the process, though most authors wait till they need them – ie: querying or publication (or Pitch Wars). Doing these early on can actually prove useful, as distilling your story to its essential elements can help hone your vision.
What to expect
We’ll begin by touching base about the answers on your intake form. To best serve you and your story, it’s important I understand where you’re coming from and where you’re heading, both with your manuscript and as a writer.
Once I get an idea of what you’re going for, I’ll brainstorm, we’ll chat, et voilà!

By the time we’re done, you’ll have five pitches you’re proud of. Promise.
blurbs
You’ll emerge with three versions of your blurb, all shiny and ready to wow future readers.
synopsis
One synopis, stunning in its elegant simplicity, in exchange for your firstborn. (Or just the first part.)
